Leah Thaxton
Leah has always held a fascination with the way a space is marked in one's memory and the presence it holds in one's mind. How a space forms memories and how memories form a space through textures and layering of materials engages her curiosity. Leah’s spatial curiosity, combined with interests of sewing, history, and travel led her to pursue architecture.
Bachelor of Environmental Design, Texas A&M University, 2024
I love dwelling on the ordinary and extracting the beauty therein. Photography is a means to capture moments that seem ordinary, emphasizing corners that easily slip in the monotony of the day. Prioritizing different aspects excites me as a way to explore a moment and the feeling it evokes rather than what one might initially see.
