Mike Cincala, AIA

Before becoming an architect, Mike spent a decade in the information technology industry, primarily with Deloitte Consulting.  He decided to pursue architecture for its more tangible design challenges, and his long-held appreciation for well-made buildings. Mike is a licensed architect and has been a partner at the firm since 2019.

  • Master of Architecture, AIA Henry Adams Metal, Virginia Tech, 2011

  • Bachelor of Science, Computer Science, University of Pittsburgh, 2000

I enjoy photography as a way of studying my surroundings and exercising my eye for design. Even a rain puddle on a bare concrete slab, reflecting as the sun emerges from behind the clouds, will catch my eye, revealing a composition of light, shadow, proportion, rhythm, and color.
