Mike Cincala, AIA
Mike brings over 16 years of experience in design and project management. Before becoming an architect, Mike worked for 10 years in the information technology industry, primarily as a consultant and project manager with Deloitte. As an architect, Mike has lead projects ranging from single-family renovations to large, multi-use urban buildings. His design and management experience along with a technology background allow him to be a highly effective leader on many architectural projects. Mike also enjoys being the office’s in-house photographer.
Mike is a member of the American Institute of Architects. He has helped to lead committees at the AIA Triangle, including the Leadership Forum, Residential Tour and Design Awards.
Mike is a licensed architect and has been a partner at the firm since 2019.

I enjoy photography as a way of studying my surroundings and exercising my eye for design. Even a rain puddle on a bare concrete slab, reflecting as the sun emerges from behind the clouds, will catch my eye, revealing a composition of light, shadow, proportion, rhythm, and color.
