Coffee shop and yoga studio by day, jazz bar by night, Missy Lane’s Assembly Room maximizes the use of a compact footprint in the historic Durham Sun Building.  Behind large arched windows, the Front Room acts as Missy Lane’s hip Grandmother’s living room, welcoming guests for coffee, an intimate piano recital or signature drinks before the big show.  Tucked in the back, the Show Room has become one of the South’s most exciting new music venues for live jazz and improvised music.  Located between the Front Room and Show Room, the Ante Room mediates circulation and hosts back-of-house spaces.  Regardless of the occasion, you will find great music playing at Missy Lane’s, day and night.
