Ray Wincko
Throughout his early years, Ray was enamored by the ways in which things were put together. Slowly, that fascination shifted to the way in which those things craft inhabitable space. Prior to his venture in architectural practice, he briefly taught design studios at the University of Florida. Ray was a 2025/2026 Ghost Residency Recipient at MacKay-Lyons Sweetapple Architects in Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. In design, Ray seeks to utilize architecture as a tool for the invigoration of everyday life.

I have always believed in the role of physical drawing as the most fundamentally earnest tool for communicating and discovering ideas. Sometimes we draw to ask questions. Sometimes we draw to provide answers. Ultimately, we draw.
