A 34-unit Main Street condominium with first floor retail makes modern use of materials inspired by the brick, metal and wood of the adjacent Brightleaf district, where renovated historic tobacco warehouses define Durham’s contemporary urban environment. Residences have floor-to-ceiling glass to provide natural light and expansive views of the cityscape. Arrays of solar panels atop parking canopies on the south side of the site generate electricity to help power the building’s common spaces.
